What We Do
110 Metalworks is a veteran-led manufacturing company located just outside of Syracuse, NY. We make high-quality metal parts for industries like aerospace, medical, defense, and industrial equipment. Our team uses advanced tools and processes like welding, machining, and assembly to make custom parts and assemblies for other manufacturers.
What You’ll Do
As a CNC Mill Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for:
- Leading and supervising staff in the Milling department to drive performance and efficiency
- Partnering with Programming, Engineering, and Quality teams to troubleshoot issues and improve operations
- Supporting machine operators with daily tasks, problem-solving, and technical guidance
- Mentoring and training apprentices to build skills and strengthen the talent pipeline
- Tracking and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs) during GEMBA walks to measure progress and drive results
- Coordinating with Scheduling to align department priorities and meet production goals
- Providing hands-on technical assistance to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Planning and overseeing machine maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum of 5 years experience setting up, operating, and performing operator level maintenance/troubleshooting on CNC Mill equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, process sheets, and related technical data to determine tooling requirements, set up procedures, control settings, machining methods, and sequences.
- Ability to inspect and measure parts.
- Identify and contribute to initiatives for continuous improvement.
- Ability to assist in the development of B/C level machinists.
Schedule: Monday – Friday 6:45am – 3:15pm
