Laser Operator – Precision Work with Purpose
We’re looking for a Laser Operator to join our Liverpool, NY team. In this role, you’ll set up and operate an LVD laser cutting machine, ensuring precision and efficiency in producing high-quality parts that support industries across the country.
What You’ll Do:
- Operate and set up CNC laser cutting equipment to meet print and traveler requirements.
- Maintain safe manufacturing and material handling practices while sustaining 95% efficiency.
- Use calipers, tape measures, and other tools to ensure accuracy to blueprint tolerances.
- Identify material types, read sheet tags, and operate overhead cranes as needed.
- Accurately record production activity and maintain quality standards.
Minimum Qualification Standards:
- 2+ years of CNC laser machine operation experience preferred (but we’ll train the right candidate!).
- Knowledge of metal fabrication concepts and processes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints (preferred but not required).
- Comfortable using a Windows-based computer system.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to prioritize work.
- Must be able to work Monday - Friday, 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM.
